Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a structure, improve assemblability of a folding type shift lever device, give moderately feeling when an angle of the shift lever is adjusted, and improve operational feeling.
SOLUTION: By sliding an unlocking knob 30 upwardly, a locking pin 40 is disconnected from a locking groove 14 of a supporting bracket 11 to fold a shift lever 20. The unlocking knob 30 has a holding recessed part 33a of the locking pin 40, and a taper part 33b formed freely to forcibly induce the lock pin 40 into a holding recessed part 33a of the lock pin 40 when the unlocking knob 30 is lowered along the shift lever 20 at the time of attaching the unlocking knob 30.
