Abstract:

PURPOSE: To control a television camera according to the motion of an object by providing a detecting means that detects the motion of the object to be image-picked up and providing a control circuit that generates a control signal which makes the television camera to follow to the object and control it based upon an information from the detecting means.

CONSTITUTION: A television camera 1 is connected to a monitor television 3 through a transmission equipment 2. At the side of the television camera, a sensor 5 which consists of plural infrared-ray sensors that detect the motion of an object 4 and of a foot switch etc. is provided and the information that represents the motion of the object detected by these sensors is sent to an interface device 6. the interface device 6 collects and sends information from the sensors to a control device. In the control device 7, each controlling content corresponding to each sensor information, such as a camera section, revolution, focusing or zooming can be set in advance (preset) and the television camera 1 is followed and controlled by the control device 7.
