Abstract:
To provide a food powder manufacturing method for water-containing food materials in which water-containing food materials with various water content rates are pulverized and dehydrated to make powder using a solid/liquid separator that separates the food materials into solid components from liquid components.SOLUTION: The food powder manufacturing method performs: a put-in step in which water-containing food materials are put in an input chamber 40 of a solid/liquid separator 1 and the water-containing food materials are fed into a pulverization chamber 11 through a communication chamber 70 by rotating a rotary shaft 30; a powder generating step in which the water-containing food materials fed into the pulverization chamber are pulverized by a stirring blade 15 and a separating member 80, water in the water-containing food materials is vaporized as water vapor and then the water vapor is separated from the water-containing food materials to make powder; and a discharging step of discharging the made powder from the pulverization chamber, in this order. In the powder generating step, pulverization is finished after a temperature in the pulverization chamber reaches a dehydration completion temperature, a temperature surpassing a boiling temperature of water.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
