Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for fixing a foot fin to the foot of a swimmer in a mode suited to the foot of the swimmer in the foot fin for swimming.
SOLUTION: The foot fin for swimming 10 constituted to be mounted to the leg having the sole and the heel of the swimmer includes a sole plate 14 larger than the foot, the first circular-arc flap 34 integrated with its rear part 22 and extended upward and forward from the rear part to demarcate a tunnel 38 having a changeable diameter for inserting the foot, a heel strap 41 which is fixed to the circular-arc flap 34 and is suited to the surrounding of the heel of the foot when the foot is inserted to the tunnel, and an adjusting means 50 for adjusting the length of the heel strap so as to hold the upper surface of the sole plate in the state of being abutted on the sole closely.
