Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a device for supporting an accurate foot pedal operation by a driver via sound in order to reduce car accidents occurring for years due to mistake of stepping an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal of an automatic transmission car in starting.SOLUTION: A foot pedal operation sound support device constituted of a distance sensor part, an information processing part, a battery part and a speaker part is provided on a driver seat floor mat of an automatic transmission vehicle. When a foot of a driver moves on the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal, electronic sound is reproduced to indicate the driver that a foot pedal operation is done.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
