Abstract:
To provide a foot rest for a motorcycle, which can be integrally molded at a low manufacturing cost, greatly reduced in vibration transmission area for less transmitted vibration and made of hard and durable elastic material.
A thick supporting wall 5 is protruded from both ends of a holding cylinder 4 with a hole 3 to drive a foot rest bar therein. Several vertical cleats 6 are carried over the supporting wall 5 on both sides apart from the holding cylinder 4 and laterally connected to plural lateral cleats 7 to be integrally molded with elastic material. The upper faces of the vertical cleats 6 and the lateral cleats 7 are used as footing planes and at least the upper face of the holding cylinder 4 is formed in a cylindrical shape.
