To provide a purchaser with a pair of comfortable shoes in the case of mail-order sales by providing foot length graduations and a center line for measuring the foot length on a paper as well as the foot circumference graduations and a cutting line.

A measuring paper is applied to a part of wall or column rising from the floor or corridor in home while aligning the edge exactly on the adhesive part 5 and then it is set thereto through the adhesive part 5 applied with adhesive. A foot is then placed on a center line 6 drawn on the measuring paper thus set with the heel touching the wall or column and the farthest finger of foot is measured on the foot length graduations 1. When the circumference of foot is measured, the measuring paper is set at a flat place and cut off along a cutting line 3, 3' to surround the measuring part (the root of big toe and the most bulging part of little toe). Foot circumference graduations 2 are then inserted into the measuring part 4 thus measuring the circumference of foot.
