Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve only one footstep to facilitate the getting-on of a wheelchair passenger by rotatably providing a movable rise at the tip of a bar constituted drawable, and rotatably providing a wheel stopper on the reverse side of the movable riser.
SOLUTION: An extensible bar 30 is drawably supported by a guide member 31 fixed to a yoke 11 and a riser movable part 20 is rotatably provided at the tip thereof. An auxiliary plate 16 is guided by the extensible bar 30 through a guide member 17 and supported drawably. A wheel stopper 21 is rotatably provided on the reverse side of the rise movable part 20. In carrying a wheelchair passenger, the extensible bar 30 is drawn to this side, and the riser movable part 20 is rotated counterclockwise. The auxiliary plate 16 is also drawn to this side, an engagement part 16a is fixed, and the wheel stopper 21 is rotated counterclockwise. Accordingly, the wheelchair can be carried safely.
