Abstract:

PURPOSE: To give comfortable touch to the sole of a foot at the time of wearing a footwear by forming cushion rows in parallel, which are formed by corniform front elastic projections inclined to the upper back side and corniform rear elastic projections inclined to the upper front side alternately in the cross direction of the upper surface of a bottom wall to be X-shaped on the front half part of the main sole.

CONSTITUTION: Corniform elastic projections 5 inclined to the upper back side and corniform rear elastic projections 6 inclined to the upper front side are alternately provided in the direction of the upper surface of the bottom wall 1 integrally with the bottom wall 1 to be X-shaped, seen from the side on the front half part of the main sole A to form a cushion 7. The cushions 7 are formed in parallel and the upper ends of the projections 5, 6 are a little higher than the upper surfaces of the middle sole bearing parts 3 on both sides of each cushion row 7. The upper end of a reinforcement rib 4 near the projections 5, 6 is lower than the upper ends of the projections 5, 6. The projections 5, 6 are gradually decreased in thickness from the root to the upper end, and the upper end part is hemispherical.
