To heighten loading density by timely compressing a forage from the front of a packing box backward without interrupting a harvesting work by installing a compressing operation wall adapted to freely move in the longitudinal direction along the upper surface of a floor plate of the packing box between right and left side walls of the packing box on the leading end side of the packing box.
The leading end part of a packing box 2 is provided with a compressing operation wall 5 slid on a floor plate 20 to slide in the longitudinal direction between right and left side walls 21, 21. A reciprocating mechanism w1 for compression of a reciprocating mechanism (w) for moving a compressing operation wall 5 forward and backward is assembled on the leading end side of the upper surface of a packing box base 23, and further a reciprocating mechanism w2 for discharge is assembled on the lower surface side. (a), (a) are guide members arranged on an upper frame 5a to correspond to the upper surfaces of both right and left end parts, and provided in parallel to the moving direction of the compressing operation wall 5 inside the right and left side walls 21, 21 of the packing box 2. When the compressing operation wall 5 is moved, the guide members are brought into sliding contact with the upper surface of the upper frame 5a to smoothly guide the movement.
