Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign material removing device which removes foreign material mixed in granules while suppressing adhesion of long foreign material in a device.SOLUTION: A foreign material removing device 1 includes blower parts 5, 6 which generate air flows F2, F3 in an upward direction and an obliquely upward direction with respect to transfer passages R1-R4 of granules, and an air flow swirling chamber 7 having an introducing passage 75 for introducing the air flow and foreign material and an exhaust port 74. One end of the introducing passage 75 is connected to a space, including the transfer passages R1-R4. The other end of the introducing passage 75 is connected to a space in the air flow swirling chamber 7. A periphery of the other end of the introducing passage 75 is arranged along a cylindrical wall surface 731 extending in front and rear directions of the air flow swirling chamber 7. Thereby, long foreign material mixed in the granules swirls in the air flow swirling chamber 7, and is likely to be housed in the air flow swirling chamber 7. That is, one end of the long foreign material is headed in a rear direction from the introducing passage 75 to the exhaust port 74 directly, and the other end of the long foreign material is suppressed from being tangled around the introducing passage 75.
