Abstract:

PURPOSE: To shorten the time needed for setting to a target position from the largest overshoot position by changing the parameter of a foreseeing control expression to the parameter calculated from the spring characteristic when the direction is inverted at the largest overshoot position.
CONSTITUTION: A moving direction inversion detecting means 20 is added to a conventional device together with a roll characteristic parameter storing means 21, a spring characteristic parameter storing means 22, and a parameter switching means 23. That is, the step response of a velocity control system is calculated even when a controlled system has the spring characteristic, and the parameter of a foreseeing control expression is also calculated to the spring characteristic. Then the changing of parameters is carried out when the moving direction is inverted and after overshooting. Thus the parameter is always ensured for control in accordant with the characteristic of the controlled system. As a result, the largest overshoot point can be quickly set to a target position and an entire setting period can be shortened.
