Abstract:
To keep balance in a direction perpendicular to a cylinder core axis at a control link side, in a constitution for making a compression ratio variable by splitting a connecting rod for connecting a piston and a crank.SOLUTION: In a constitution for making a compression ratio variable by splitting a connecting rod for connecting a piston and a crank into two pieces, and setting an interior angle formed of a linear line for connecting a top dead point time axial core of a contraposition of the two-split connecting rod to a crank journal axial core and a cylinder core axis as an obtuse angle, the interior angle is set as an angle so that a contraposition-axis axial core of 90, 270° after a top dead point of a crank pin axis and a contraposition-axis axial core at an intermediate point time of a piston stroke substantially coincide with each other by making a contraposition axis stroke trajectory properly irregular toward the interior angle side, or linearly stroking a contraposition axis on a linear line for connecting the top dead point time axial core of the contraposition and the crank journal axial core. A crank pin axial core phase difference at the descending and the ascending of the piston at the piston stroke intermediate point time is substantially set at 180°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
