PURPOSE: To smoothen a forming work by forming while removing water drips in an air vent caused by dew condensation or preventing the freezing thereof by suitable means of air jetting, etc., at the time of forming at a low temp.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of forming the blank cooled with cooling medium in a forming die 1, to the air vents 15 arranged in an upper and a lower dies 3, 5, the air is jetted from an air supplying source 25 through the piping 23 and an air pipe 19, or the air supplying source 21 is changed to a sucking device to suck the air in the air vent 15, and then, while removing the water drip in the air vent 15, the formation is executed. In the case of air-jetting, the warm dry air is desirably used, but since the jetting to the blank under a low temp. condition is not desirable, the jetting is executed in the interval after completing the formation, at which the upper die 3 reaches the lower dead center, and just before charging the following new blank into the lower die 5. Further, in the case of air-sucking, it is desirable to avoid the generation of negative pressure at the time of taking out the formed produce from a lower die 5 after completing the formation.
