This method for forming a crossing yarn-fixing part comprises the step of continuously forming two or more loops on a crossing yarn with a needle placed near to a boundary between a yarn-crossing section and a yarn-knitting section among needles in a needle bed not related to a knitting operation, and the step of transferring the formed loops to a needle in a needle bed related to the knitting operation, in a method for producing a knitted fabric having the yarn-crossing section and the knitting section with a flat knitting machine having a yarn-feeding port and two needling beds. In the yarn-crossing section, yarns 22a, 22b fed from the yarn-feeding port are not knitted and used as crossing yarns. In the knitting section, the yarns 22a, 22b fed from the yarn- feeding port are knitted.
