Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for forming a dental diagnostic set up of the casts capable of easily forming the dental diagnostic set up of the casts and a forming device therefor.
CONSTITUTION: A representative plane RP formed by an anatomical mesial contact point A1, distal contact point A2 and a mid-point E of a cheek side cervical point B1 and a tongue side cervical point B2 is formed for each of the respective teeth. A DI line formed by projecting a straight line connecting the cheek side cervical point B1 and the representative point C of the cusp part or cutting margin onto a representative plane RP and a DH line orthogonal with this DI line at the point shifted to the residual ridge side by a prescribed distance from the representative point C are formed for each of the respective teeth. The heights of the DH lines of the respective teeth lined up on the plane along the guide line indicating the plane shape of the residual ridge are aligned to the specified height and the angles of inclination of the representative planes RP of the respective teeth with respect to the face reference line set at the face are adjusted. Then, the formation of the dental diagnostic set up of the casts is facilitated.
