PURPOSE: To manufacture an enameled product having good surface properties in a production line in which man-hour is remarkably reduced and capable of automization by assembling each member into a structure having a prescribed shape and thereafter executing enamel baking.
CONSTITUTION: An aluminized steel sheet is assembled into a structure having an objective shape, and its surface is coated with a glaze having the m.p. lower than that of an aluminized layer and essentially consisting of a frit having a small linear expansion coefficient, and this glaze is baked at 500 to 600°C for 3 to 10min baking time. Because this baking is executed at a low temp., thermal deformation generated on the base steel sheet is extremely small as shown in the figure 3. Furthermore, even if the base is exposed, no discoloration is shown owing to the presence of the aluminized layer excellent in oxidation resistance.
