Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable the easy formation of an accurate polychromatic fluorescent screen by printing roughly the slurry of photo resist comprising dispersed fluorescent materials of each color approximately to the predetermined shapes and at the predetermined positions, exposing the slurry all at once using a mask and developing the slurry.

CONSTITUTION: First, the slurry of photo resist comprising dispersed fluorescent materials is so applied to the predetermined position on a glass substrate 1 as to form the predetermined shape, using a screen printing method and the like. Then, the second color 12 and the third color 13 are also printed on the substrate 1. A mask 14 having openings for each color is placed on the glass substrate 1 discriminately applied with three-color fluorescent materials 11, 12 and 13 to the predetermined shapes and at the predetermined positions, and the three-color fluorescent materials 11, 12 and 13 are exposed all at once and cured. Finally, the slurry is developed, using warm water and the like and an unexposed portion is removed. As the florescent materials are first applied discriminately and exposed all at once, there is no anxiety of color mixture.
