Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the method for formation of protective films formed at a uniform thickness by applying and drying strippable paint and the device therefor.
CONSTITUTION: This method for formation of the protective films is executed by an applying stage 1 for applying the strippable paint to coating finished cars, a predrying stage 2 for predrying the strippable paint applied on the coating finished cars and a normal drying stage 3 for normal drying of the coating finished cars subjected to predrying. The protective film forming device is composed of an applying booth 4 for applying the strippable paint to the coating finished cars, a setting booth, an IR drying surface 6 which is a furnace for predrying the strippable paint applied on the coating finished cars and a hot air drying furnace 7 which is a furnace for normally drying the coating finished cars subjected to predrying.
