CONSTITUTION: This terminal equipment is comprised of an input instruction means 1 which inputs a command instruction and an article name, etc., a display means 2, a screen keyboard input/output control means 3 which converts an input signal from the input instruction means 1 from an external signal to an internal signal or vice versa, a command allocation means 4, a header image conversion means 6, a photographic image conversion means 7, a surface image conversion means 8, a host system input/output control means 9, an article comparison means 10 which compares article information supplied from a host system with the size of a display area, a general article image conversion means 11 which converts an image to the one with constant line width when the article information exceeds the display area, and a specific article image conversion means 12 which converts the image to a line image by changing (thinly) the line width of a line end when the information is housed in the display area.
