Title:
FORMED BODY HAVING SELECTIVE REFLECTION PROPERTY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000147258
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a formed body having selective reflection properties with respect to wavelengths and circularly polarized light.

A selectively reflective soln. containing a cellulose deriv. and polymerizable solvent is polymerized to obtain a formed body. The cellulose drive. has about 2.2 to 3 alkyl substitution degree, about 0 to 0.8 acyl substitution degree, and about 2.8 to 3 sum of the alkyl substitution degree and acryl substitution degree. An example of such a cellulose deriv. is alkylcellulose (ethylcellulose) or acylated alkylcellulose having a high substitution degree. As for the polymerizable solvent, (meth)acrylic monomers such as (meth)acrylic acid can be used.
