Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer an indentation pattern of a forming mandrel accurately and quickly onto tread rubber wound on the forming mandrel, to dispense with expertness and labor required usually, thereby to lessen the burden of an operator and to reduce variation in quality and attain an increase of the amount of production.
SOLUTION: This apparatus comprises a forming mandrel 10 rotated by driving, a center stitcher roller 37 being rotatable around an axis parallel to the forming mandrel 10 and pressure-fitted by hydraulic pressure on tread rubber wound on the forming mandrel 10 and right and left end part stitcher rollers 36. In this case, the center stitcher roller 37 is formed in the shape of a cylinder and provided at the central part in the width direction of the forming mandrel, while the end part stitcher rollers 36 are formed in the shape of a cone, with the large-diameter parts thereof directed to the central part in the width direction of the forming mandrel 10, and are provided so that they can be fed toward the opposite ends from the central part at positions shifting in the direction of the circumference of the forming mandrel from the center stitcher roller 37.
