PURPOSE: To obtain a glucomannan tablet having desired size, by forming a mixture of glucomannan powder and scorched wheat flour.

CONSTITUTION: Glucomannan powder is mixed with a desired amount of scorched and cooled wheat flour, and formed to a tablet having a desired size with a tabletting machine. For example, 5pts. of glucomannan powder is mixed with 95pts. of scorched and cooled wheat flour (obtained by scorching wheat flour made from albumen or embryo buds of wheat or their mixture, followed by cooling to room temperature), and the mixture is compressed with a tabletting machine under a pressure of 80W90kg per tablet. The water and the gluten in the wheat flour act as binders to integrate glucomannan powder and wheat flour.
