PURPOSE: To simplify a transport device and improve the quality of a natural turf field to be formed, regarding a method to transport a natural turf to an all-weather stadium for forming an athletic field.

CONSTITUTION: A natural turf pallet 36 is formed out of a natural turf 40 vegetated on a seat laid in a vessel type slab. An air pipe is laid in the slab and provided with an air blow outlet directed down and an air supply hose coupling port. Also, an air floating device 52 is provided around the air blow outlet. The pallet 36 and a transport vehicle 45 are jointed to each other with a coupling device 37 and a compressed air supply device 57 installed on the vehicle 45 is operated to feed the air to the device 52 via an air supply hose 56 and pneumatic piping. As a result, the pallet 36 is afloat from the ground and carried to an athletic field on the vehicle 45 for sequential arrangement without any gap.
