Abstract:
To form a highly precise groove on the surface of a cylindrical work 40.
A cylindrical work 40 is fixed in the axial direction and rotated with respect to at least one spinning roller 12. The spinning roller 12 having a protruded outline 14 and a support zone 16 adjacent to the side is radially fed into the working zone of the work 40 and a groove 42 is geometically and precisely shaped in correspondence with the protruded profile 14 of the spinning roller 12 and support zone 16 by the radial feed of the spinning roller 12 and the axial upsetting.
