Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate forming of through holes such that a swash plate type variable displacement compressor manufactured has a reduced number of components and a shortened shaft length.
SOLUTION: A swash plate 11 is drilled up along a centerline 11 to have a circular hole, in which an end mill having the same diameter is inserted. With the end mill rotated, the swash plate 11 is turned into alignment with another centerline 12 about its pivot center Y that is set beyond a driveshaft 6 on the opposite side of the axis X to a hinge mechanism K, K so as to lie perpendicularly to the axis X.
