Abstract:
To secure watertightness of a joint in the execution of covering works for a steel-pipe-sheet-pile part, in a large-scale steel-pipe-sheet-pile foundation.
A plurality of steel pipe sheet piles 2 are coupled together to form an outer hull 1 of the steel-pipe-sheet-pile foundation; and a concrete skeleton 6 is constructed on the outer hull 1. In this case, concrete covering plates 12 are provided, in a range from a bottom of water to a water surface, on outside surfaces of the sheet piles 2.
