Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a delay in operation of a rear wheel steering mechanism and to prevent the occurence of overrun, by a method wherein response to rear wheel steering operation is improved. CONSTITUTION:A rear wheel steering mechanism 10 is formed with a DC motor 12, controlled by feedback by means of a control device formed with a microcomputer 11, and a power steering device 14, to which rotation of the DC motor 12 is inputted. Input signals from a rear wheel steering angle sensor 15 and a car speed sensor 16 and feedback signals from a rotation position detector 17 of the DC motor 12 are inputted as an input for control to the microcomputer 11. A control line is extended to a drive circuit 12a of a DC motor 12 from the microcomputer 11, and the drive circuit 12a is so adapted to allow control of the starting, the stop, and the rotation speed thereof by means of the microcomputer 11.
