To provide an ATM which is good in operability by making it possible to receive a payment of fractions automatically without grasping the fractions of the balance by a customer.
For the fraction paying method of the ATM which pays cash according to customer's operation at an operation part, the operation part is provided with a 'maximum withdrawl' key 7 and with this 'maximum withdrawal' key 7 pressed, the device pays all the balance of the customer. Further, a 'fraction-within-specific-amount withdrawal' key 8 is provided and when the customer presses this 'fraction-within-specific-amount withdrawal' key 8 and inputs a specific amount of money, the device calculates fractions within the specific amount of money of the balance of the customer and pays them. Further, a 'specific-amount-leaving withdrawal' key 9 is provided and when the customer presses this 'specific-amount-leaving withdrawal' key 9 and inputs the specific amount of money, the device calculates the amount by subtracting the said specific amount from the balance of the customer and pays the money by the amount.
