Abstract:

PURPOSE: To estimate only activity of m-GOT by using an antibody to s-GOT, obtained by extracting and purifying glutamic acid/oxalacetic acid/transaminase isozyme from blood of a mammalian, and frozen and dried antibody sensitized corpuscles.

CONSTITUTION: When GOT activity is measured for diagnoses of liver and heat diseases, etc., the fractional estimation of s-GOT in a cell supernatant fractionation and m-GOT residing locally in mitochondria are carried out. While s-GOT extracted and purified from the blood or tissue of a mammalian is used as an antigen, a frozen and dried antibody and antibody sensitized corpuscles to s-GOT obtained by immunizing a mammalian are added to human's serum to be inspected and after reaction, s-GOT in serum is perfectly removed by centrifuging, thereby measuring m- GOT in serum in the UV method.
