To provide a composition which generates an in vivo vomeronasal organ negative receptor binding potential in a human subject by making the composition contain a human pheromone containing one or more 16-androstene steroids and one or more estrene steroids and an odorant.

A composition contains an odorant, a human pheromone at a concentration of 200 μg/ml or lower, a surfactant and a propellant and the human pheromone contains one or more 16-androstene steroids of formula I and one or more estrene steroids of formula II. In the formulae, R1 is oxo, α-(β-)hydroxy, α(β-)acetoxy or the like; R2 is H, hydroxy, acyl, acyloxy, alkoxy or the like; a and b are each a site which can be converted to a double bond when necessary; R4 is H, alkyl, oxo, α-hydroxy or the like; R5 is H, α-hydroxy or the like; R6 is H, lower alkyl, benzoyl or the like; and c is a site which can be converted to a double bond when necessary.
