Abstract:

PURPOSE: To push out the air containing a fragrance when a ball is struck with a racket, and make a good smell float around it by boring a single hole or a plurality of holes in the hollow ball, and adhering an aromatic to the inner wall of the ball or putting a material impregnated with the aromatic in the ball.

CONSTITUTION: In game balls including a tennis ball (non-pressure tennis ball having no felt), a hole is bored in the ball, aromatics (a), (b) are put in the ball. Namely, a hollow ball formed of a polymer composition obtained by blending hollow fine balls and finely cut or finely pulverized fine fibers is formed, a single hole or a plurality of holes having the total area (s) are bored in the ball. The restitution coefficient when the ball is struck with a racket is set to be close to the equal level to a hard tennis ball covered with felt. The aromatic is applied (a) to such a bored ball, or a material (cotton, sponge) impregnated with the aromatic is put in the ball.
