Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame-retardancy waterproof sheet for buildings, employed for roof-waterproof exposed-type heat insulation construction method, which prevents the fire from spreading from the waterproof sheet and also from a foaming plastic thermal insulating material even if the waterproof sheet catches fire from a fire origin, such as a leaping of fire flame.
SOLUTION: The frame-retardancy waterproof sheet A for buildings, utilized in the roof-waterproof exposed-type heat insulation construction method using plastic foam, comprises a weather-retardancy vinyl chloride resin surface layer 1, a flame-retardancy vinyl chloride resin back layer 2, and a base material 3, the layers and material being laminated, wherein the oxygen index of the whole waterproof sheet is made 23 or more, and of the flame-retardancy vinyl chloride resin back layer is made 25 or more. The base resin is noncombustible, an a flame retardant added to the vinyl chloride resin back layer is the flame retardant material emitting a non combustible gas upon burning, or non-hydrous inorganic oxide.
