Abstract:
PURPOSE: To improve the safety of a work and to eliminate the need of a safey band for a worker by previously providing a handrail and using the handrail as a brace as it is.
CONSTITUTION: In a frame scaffold where building frames are connected to each other by a cloth plate 2 and a cross brace 3, the ends of which are held on the building frames 1, the cross brace 3 is so constructed that the mutual intersecting overlapping parts of bars 3a are bound by a center ring 15. Each bar 3a has a bent part at its lower position than the center ring 15 passing position, and a converted fitting 9 for vertically supporting the end part of the bar 3a is attached and removed to and from the on-ground erecting material of the building frame 1.
