Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding frame, which is capable of improving welding workability and obtaining superior penetration in corners, as well as its welding method and a frame structure thereby.
SOLUTION: Square tubular formed materials 1, 2 having a thickness of 2 to 4 mm are extruded. The formed materials 1, 2 are formed with chamfering on the outer and inner face of the corner part 3. The thickness of the corner part 3 is the same 2-4 mm as that of the side wall part 4, the thickness of the entire formed material being uniform. In addition, the chamfering on the inner face of the corner part 3 is so provided that its radius is in excess of its thickness. Further, the formed materials 1, 2 are each formed with an end face perpendicular in the longitudinal direction at least on one end. Then, with such end faces abutted on each other in the manner that their corner parts are matched, the formed materials 1, 2 are welded together by turning a welding torch around the abutted face 5.
