Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make framed soap easier to handle and to make homogeneous dispersion of titanium dioxide contained therein possible by adding a specific cationic polymeric compound to a titanium dioxide-containing framed soap.
CONSTITUTION: A poly(dimethyldiallylammonium chloride)-based cationic poly mer compound (e.g. Merquat 100, a product of Merck & Co., Inc.) represented by formula I or II (wherein R1 and R2 independently represent H or CH3, and P represents 150 to 6,200) and titanium dioxide are added to framed soap. The content of the cationic poymer compound is 0.1 to 6 wt%, preferably 0.5 to 5 wt%, and that of the titanium dioxide is 0.1 to 0.5 wt%, preferably 0.15 to 0.3 wt%.
