Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unauthorized copy and startup of software at installation and startup of the software. SOLUTION: A personal computer 3 recognizes media such as a CD 5 inserted into a CD drive 4 (S101). The personal computer 3 reads transferred installer software from a memory, starts it (S102) and displays a guide to indicate a state during the installation stored in the installer software (S103). The personal computer 3 is set as a selection standby state by displaying a guide to instruct the installation of IC media 1 (S104). The personal computer 3 confirms the installation of the IC media 1 (S105), when the IC media 1 exist on a board 10 for installing the IC media, reads an ID, etc., as check condition data from the IC media 1 (S106), collates and confirms the ID of the installer software read from the CD 5 with the ID stored in the IC media 1 (S108) and when collating of the IDs is confirmed, carries out the installation (S109). When the collating is similarly confirmed, the software is started.
