Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a free stop hinge structure for a glove box which has a small number of components and a simple structure, and which is easily fitted and is advantageous in a cost.SOLUTION: A hinge structure 1 is configured from: a hollow or a solid rod-like hinge shaft 10 of which both ends are provided with fitting parts 11; hinge bodies 20 each comprising a cylindrical hinge part 22 which rotatably supports the hinge shaft 10, cylindrical pressing parts 23 which are coaxially provided from axial both ends of the hinge part 22, and a fitting part 21 for fixation; and pressing rings 30 which are press-fitted to an outer periphery of the pressing parts 23. A slit 24 is formed over the whole length of the pressing part 23 in an axial direction thereof. The pressing ring 30 is press-fitted to the pressing part 23 so as to press the pressing part 23 to the radially inner side, thereby increasing a frictional resistance between the hinge shaft 10 and the pressing part 23 and giving a function for freely stopping relative rotation of both.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
