PURPOSE: To effectively prevent the freezing of the exhaust hole of an exhaust chamber provided in a body.
CONSTITUTION: Compressed air is supplied and exhausted from the upper end of an impact cylinder 3a to drive an impact piston 3b in the impact cylinder 3a for nail driving. In a nailing machine of such constitution, an exhaust chamber 20 where exhaust air exhausted from the upper part of the impact cylinder 3a passes is formed along the inside face of a body 1, and a throttle hole 21 is formed below the exhaust chamber 20. Inside the exhaust chamber 20, a baffle wall 25 with which exhaust air collides at a right angle is formed above the throttle hole 21, and moisture in the exhaust air is forcibly frozen on this baffle wall 25 to stick thereto.
