Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frequency control apparatus capable of optimally controlling the enhancement of high speed tuning and stability of a tuned state.
SOLUTION: In the frequency control apparatus 10, a phase error arithmetic section 14 uses both component signals 12a at an interval of a received symbol supplied from a data conversion section 12 to generate a phase error sinΔ(14a) and to supply the result to one terminal 20a of a multiplier 20, a gain condition generating section 16 generates conditions for determination 166c, 168a of a value α of a loop gain and supplies them to a loop gain setting section 18. The loop gain setting section 18 determines the value α(18a) of the loop gain depending on the conditions for determination of the loop gain and outputs the decided value to the other terminal 20b of the multiplier 20. The multiplier 20 outputs dataαsinΔ(20c) resulting from multiplying the phase error sinΔ with the value αto an integrator 22. The integrator 22 outputs a result of multiplication for feedback control as a control signal 22a.
