Abstract:
To switch a frequency of an output signal without losing the frequency stability.
A controller 18 generates a digital control signal Dc based on a power supply voltage and an object frequency and the temperature of a voltage controlled oscillator 12 measured by a temperature measurement device 13, the digital control signal Dc is converted into a control voltage VCON by a D/A converter 22 and the converted voltage is given to the voltage controlled oscillator 12. Thus, the frequency switching speed depends on a settling time of the D/A converter 22 and an arithmetic time of the controller 18.
