Title:
FRESHENESS-RETAINING CONTAINER FOR FOODSTUFF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH01267175
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To fully fulfill a freshness-retaining function even in the normal and low temperature, by coating a vessel, in which foodstuffs are contained, made of polystyrene or polyolefine resin with a composite material comprising a ceramic which radiates far-infrared with a particular range of waves and a particular binder resin.

CONSTITUTION: A container composed of polystyrene resin or polyolefine resin is coated with a composite material including a binder resin and a ceramic radiating far-infrared with waves ranging from 24μ to 25μ. The binder resin is chosen from polyvinyl acetate polymer, polyvinyl chloride polymer, vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer, acryl resin chiefly composed of ester of acryl acid and metaacryl acid, and polyurethane resin. In this way, the container can fully retain freshness for the inside foodstuffs even in the normal and low temperature.
