Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject apparatus capable of keeping the freshness of green vegetables over a long period by placing a heater in a cold air-suction channel and attaching an ethylene-removing agent to the circumference of the heater.
CONSTITUTION: The objective apparatus 11 has a heater 11a placed e.g. in the cold air-suction channel 10 of a refrigerator and an ethylene-removing agent 11b is attached to the outer circumference of the heater 11a. The application of the removing agent can be carried out by suspending zeolite in a bromine water, applying the suspension to the outer circumference of the heater 11a and drying the suspension with heat.
