Abstract:
To provide a configuration that can extend a durable period of a friction disc.SOLUTION: In friction discs 16 which are for a thread coupler for coupling two yarn ends without a nodal point and in which the friction discs include one support bodies 34 which are relatively rotatably supported for each other so as to add mechanical friction action to the yarn ends to couple and friction linings 35 arranged on the support bodies, one of the friction discs is formed by multi-parts and has a center member 17, an inner ring 18 and an outer ring 19 supported movably in an axial direction; the other friction disc has at least the center member 17 and a ring 23.
