Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide mechanism excellent in the friction reducing effect under a low temperature condition and a friction reduction method thereof.SOLUTION: The present invention resides in a slide mechanism in which a lubricating oil composition is interposed between a pair of sliding members, and a friction reduction method thereof. In the friction reduction method and the slide mechanism of the present invention, the sliding surface of at least one of the sliding members has a dimple shape in which a centerline average roughness Ra is 0.05 to 5 μm and an average space Sm between irregularities is 0.002 to 0.1 mm, and the lubricating oil composition contains an organic molybdenum compound.SELECTED DRAWING: None
