Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction roller type speed reducer in which intermediate rollers can always be followed stably to a resilient deformation of a ring roller or a sun roller and the like without being dependent upon an operating condition of the speed reducer.SOLUTION: A frictional roller type speed reducer comprises a sun roller 15, ring rollers 17, a plurality of intermediate rollers 19 and a loading cam mechanism. The intermediate rollers 19 comprise an auto-rotation shaft 31, a roller main body 83 having a through-pass hole 81 formed at a core part through which the auto-rotation shaft 31 passes and its outer peripheral surface contacted in rolling with the sun roller 15 and the ring rollers 17, and a roller bearing 22 arranged between the auto-rotation shaft 31 and the through-pass hole 81 of the roller main body 83. The roller bearing 22 supports the roller main body 83 movably along the auto-rotation shaft 31 and rotatably around the auto-rotation shaft 31 by a plurality of balls 87 present between the auto-rotation shaft 31 and the through-pass hole 81 of the roller main body 83.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
