Title:
FRICTION TRANSMISSION BELT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2011117576
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a friction transmission belt suppressing a pop-out phenomenon to achieve a long service life by preventing excessive acceleration of vulcanization of ethylene-α-olefin elastomer to prevent aging deterioration of adhesion between core wires and a core wire support layer.

The friction transmission belt includes the core wire support layer 2 with the core wires 1 embedded along the longitudinal direction of the belt, and a compression layer 3 laminated on the core wire support layer 2. The core wire support layer 2 is formed by sulfur vulcanization of a rubber composition containing 0.7-2.0 pts.mass of an amine-based age resistor and 0.5-1.0 pts.mass of each of sulfenamide-based vulcanization accelerator, a thiuram-based vulcanization accelerator and thiazole-based vulcanization accelerator as a vulcanization accelerator to 100 pts.mass of ethylene-α-olefin elastomer.
