Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable power transmission with a stable friction force even if there are some variations in parts.SOLUTION: A friction transmission type reduction gear 20 comprises: an input shaft 21 connected to a rotation shaft 11 to rotate; a sun roller 22 fixed to the input shaft 21; a case 23 mounted on an enclosure 12 journaled on the rotation shaft 11 for covering the sun roller 22; planetary rollers 24 that frictionally contact the outer peripheral surface of the sun roller 22 and the inner surface of the case 23 and that revolve around the input shaft by the rotation of the sun roller 22; and a planetary carrier 25 having an output shaft 25A journaled on the case 23, for pivotally supporting a rotation shaft 24A of the planetary rollers 24. The sun roller 22 includes a taper outer peripheral surface 22A having smaller diameter toward the output shaft 25A side; the case 23 includes a taper inner surface 23A in parallel with the taper outer peripheral surface 22A; and a precompression application member (a coil spring) 26 is provided within the case 23 for applying the precompression toward the output shaft side to the input shaft 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
