Abstract:
To provide a joined body with a high joint strength which is joined by friction pressure-welding.SOLUTION: A first chuck device 50 grips a steel component 10 including a first cylindrical part 11 with a first press-welding surface 15. A second chuck device 60 grips a cast iron component 20 including a second cylindrical part 21 with a second press-welding surface 25. The first cylindrical part 11 of the steel component 10 and the second cylindrical part 21 of the cast iron component 20 are pressed against each other. Consequently, the first pressure-welding surface 15 is deformed into a first annular surface which is annularly formed with a first width, and a burr surface which is so formed as to be continuous with the first annular surface. The second pressure-welding surface 25 is deformed into a second annular surface which is annularly formed with a second width. Further, the whole first annular surface and at least a part of the burr surface, and the second annular surface are joined by friction pressure-welding.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
