Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction wheel assembly having a simple constitution to stably transmit power by friction between a driving wheel and a driven wheel, and easy in assembling.SOLUTION: A rocking arm 16 is rockably supported around an arm supporting shaft 11 mounted on an engine block 3, a pair of guide rods 20 are supported at both end portions of the rocking arm 16, and a friction wheel 31 is rotatably supported by a bracket 23 slidably supported by the pair of guide rods. The bracket is energized in a direction to bring the friction wheel elastically into contact with a driving wheel and a driven wheel, by an elastic member 33 supported by the guide rods, and when a contact pressure of the friction wheel is uneven, the rocking arm and the bracket are rocked by reaction force loaded on the friction wheel from a side of high contact pressure to unify the contact pressure of the friction wheel to the driving wheel and the driven wheel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
